School of Rock in Lubbock is proud to serve our community with music lessons taught by real, practicing musicians. Lubbock has a solid music scene and history.
It is the home of Buddy Holly, and the city recently built an incredible Buddy Holly Hall that showcases various fine arts throughout the year. Due to our location, of course Texas country is popular, but within the last decade, there have been other genres coming onto the scene. With younger adults and teenagers, punk pop, metal, and indie are popular. With lessons from our expert instructors, students can learn to rock out on guitar, drums, and more. Rock is one of School of Rock Lubbock's top programs for kids and beginners.
Students have one weekly group rehearsal where they learn to play classic rock songs that have been simplified for beginner musicians. Additionally, Rock students in Lubbock have a weekly private music lesson with an instructor who helps them learn the concepts and skills behind their performance songs.
Our music programs for kids in Lubbock are designed to get students on stage performing, with the goal of building strong musical proficiency. Additionally, students typically ages 8 to years-old can begin Rock without any prior experience.
